![]() ![]() ![]() dust off the old Xbox 360 because it's a much better experience on there. Or alternatively, and I can't believe I'm actually saying this. If you've got a time machine handy, it's worth the playthrough for sure. But Ubisoft's continued incompetence makes it an absolute pain to play today. I would have highly recommended it about 10 years ago. The game itself is great, and one of my all time favorites. Regardless, it wouldn't even be an issue in the first place if they had just released a simple hotfix the day that they shut down the servers like they should have. Some people have claimed that simply launching the game solves this issue, but based on countless forums, that's still only got about a 50% chance of working for whatever reason. You can quickly see how this makes the game completely unplayable. Want to just save the game manually? Enjoy another wait. Want to change your sensitivity? Enjoy another wait. Want to tweak your graphics settings? Enjoy another wait. And even if you do manage to tackle that mess, it's also got another very annoying issue where it tries to connect to Far Cry 3 servers (which Ubisoft themselves have confirmed no longer exist) for a couple of minutes before finally failing every time you boot up the game and every time that you pause the game. This game's Dunia engine has issues with modern 8 core 16 thread CPUs, so if you're not prepared to troubleshoot this issue, stay far away. ![]()
